New Friends

Just had dinner with everyone tonight at the Beach House – my luck continues to exceed all expectations…I sat beside Richard Branson at dinner.  So so cool and frankly a bit surreal!  He is very relaxed and easy to chat to.  There are so many great people here, not just Richard.  Spending an evening with these interesting, amazing folks was incredibly enjoyable.  I spoke with one who used to work at the UN, one who is a sponsor for TED, several who are heads of different Foundations, two who are part of YPO (young President’s Club), a beautiful singer/songwriter who is very connected to Spirit, one who has a ranch in Hawaii that has gone completely off the grid and is energy self-sufficient, a woman who I totally connected with who has created a program called Om my Soul (a yoga instructor, nutritionist) and the head of Virgin Unite who is an amazing woman trying to bring more meaning into business ventures.    I’m listening and learning so much already, so many ideas are coming to me…..this is a seriously cool experience!

The academics from Oxford got here at the end of dinner and other than getting introduced, haven’t had a chance to get to know them better.   The crickets are singing outside my window, a gecko has taken up resident in my bathroom, there are a million stars out tonight without any city lights around and the waves are faint in the background….it just keeps getting better and better!    A meditation  before I go to bed to connect to the energy of this special place and give thanks for a truly blessed life.
